So hard to say goodbye...

It’s so hard to say goodbye, and not only to yesterday (sorry bad song reference). Sometimes the best thing in life is to let someone go, even if it hurts like hell. Sad thing is I’m selfish. In my mind I know the best thing is letting them go, but my heart just can’t quite get on the same page. Oh the joys of life I guess. I always seem to have that disconnect, head going one way and the heart another.

Curves, Dreams, and Demands

Let me preface by saying yes, I'm a girl, with curves. And yes I'm ok with that. Being said: Being a girl with curves, I greatly appreciate that there are some guys out there who enjoy a woman with a little “cuddliness.” HOWEVER, I would like to be selfish in asking that they don’t have more gold in their mouth then I wear on a daily basis, that their pants actually be on their butt, that they have no baby momma drama, and have a somewhat stable job. I'm even going to go as far as asking for some level of intelligence, ability to carry on a grammatically correct conversation, and not refer to me as ,"Babe, cupcake, honey bun," or any other pink pig or food reference. New Year, New Chapter

I'm refusing the resolutions this year, instead I plan on taking some good advice and focusing on life changes. Here's my focus for this New Year: Be true to yourself. Always trust your instincts. Don't take a single thing for granted. Be thankful for every day. Let go of the past, let it make you better, not bitter. Find something good in everyday.
